Jamyang Kalsang

Khenpo Jamyang Kalsang joined Ngor Ewam Choedey Monastery in 1993, and completed his basic mudra practices and ritual education. In 1998, he joined Sakya College where he studied sutras, tantras, and Tibetan literature for sixteen years under the tutorial of eminent teachers like Late Khenpo Migmar Tsering, Khenchen Sonam Gyatso, Khenpo Jamyang Paljor, Ngawang Zopa, and many other teachers. Since 2006, he has subsequently served as a revision teacher, a teacher, and a resident Khenpo.

Thupten Rabsal

Khenpo Thupten Rabsal was born in Kham Nangchen region in Tibet. At age 15, he joined Rela Monastery and pursued his study of ritual. On reaching India in 1998, he further studied Tibetan grammar and ritual-related subjects in Sakya Centre, Dehradun. Thereafter, in 1999, he joined Sakya College. He completed the study of myriad philosophical treatises, mainly in sutra, under the feet of Khenchen Appey Rinpoche, Khenchen Kunga Wangchuk, the erudite scholar Khenpo Sonam Gyatso, Khenpo Jamyang Paljor, etc. In 2006, he was assigned to the post of revision teacher by Khenchen Sonam Gyatso. In 2007 and 2009, he graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees respectively. In 2013, under the auspices of H.H Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, some Khenpos were enthroned at Sakya College. He was one of them to be enthroned and consequently, up until now, he has been engaged in the task of disseminating philosophical teachings in the college.
Khentul Dakpo Shabdrung

Khentul Dakpo Shabdrung was born in Sikkim, in 1988. From the age of six, he went to a Tibetan school. In 1999, he was recognized as reincarnation of Shabdrung Kalsang Gyaltsen of Sangphu Ling Tod by HH Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche. Beginning 2003, he studied under Khenchen Sonam Gyatso at Sakya College, and graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees. From 2012, he served as a revision teacher, and a teacher for some years. He was enthroned as Khenpo in 2018, and has served the college ever since.

Jamyang Zopa

Khenpo Jamyang Zopa was born in Nangchen in Kham, Tibet. At an early age, he joined Beu-ru Monastery. In 2004, he joined Sakya College and studied under Khenchen Sonam Gyatso. He graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees. He served as a revision teacher and a teacher for three years and five years respectively. He also served as principal at Sachen School for a year. After his appointment as Khenpo, he continues to teach at the college.

Kunga Tsering

Khenpo Kunga Tsering was born at Kyaker in Minyak region in 1981. In 1997, he joined Minyak Rikhud monastery and learned all the required rituals. In 2004, he joined Sakya College and completed his study on sutra-related philosophical treatises under Khenpos of Sakya College led by Khenchen Sonam Gyatso. In 2014 and 2016, he graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees respectively. In 2014, he was appointed as a revision teacher for a year; after that, he served as a teacher for four years. He also served as principal at Sachen School. In 2020, he was appointed as Khenpo.

Khentrul Jadral Samten Gonpo joined Sakya College in 2006; graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees. He worked as an editorial member of Monlam Dictionary for few years. At present, he is a resident Khenpo and teaches at the college.

Khenpo Karma Nyima joined Sakya College in 2008; graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees. He then served as a revision teacher and a teacher respectively. At present, he is a resident Khenpo and teaches at the college.

Ven. Jamyang Dorji (B) joined Sakya College in 2009, and graduated with Kachupa and Loppon degrees. In 2022, he received an award from H.H the 42nd Sakya Trizin Rinpoche for having memorized the whole root text of the Eighteen Great Treatises, during the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of Sakya College. Currently, he is a revision teacher at the college.

Ven. Ngawang Phuntsok joined Sakya College in 2011. He studied the Six Great Treatises and graduated with Kachupa degree in 2023. He served as a college monitor for a year. He also taught at Sachen School for few years, and at present, he is a revision teacher at the college.
